Chapter 18-- WHAT IS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HOCL AND NITRIC OXIDE? -- Pioneer of HOCL Science with Jeffrey F. Williams 

I don't know of experimental data on Nitric oxide and its key role in epithelial health and blood vessel health. NO is a gas, maintains healthy blood vessels and pressure. But it declines with age. There are some precursors, again, they're part of the sort of amino acid sources that we convert in our bodies.

 

My sense is that any pathological process going on, whether it's in your gums or in your eyes or your gut, that any pathological process is going to put demands on your nitric oxide system. Anything you can do to boost that is helpful and to some extent dietary sources can be helpful for it. But there are other biochemical mechanisms to boost it.

 

I think there probably is a nicely complementary process here. HOCl is a great protector. It's a first responder. It deals with what I call insults of all kinds, cuts, bruises, infections, and nitric oxide is a key part of that recovery process too. It's a very important part of microcirculation.

 

And nothing will heal unless you have good microcirculation. There may be data on complementary effects between nitric oxide and HOCl, but my guess is that it's highly likely from a physiological and evolutionary point of view.
