Remember that the process whereby our white blood cells are making HOCl, that's all chemistry. That is immutable. That's the way evolution has set up our capacity to make it. But the variation is in you and me and other people. We all vary in our capacity to make HOCl and to use it for infection control and healing.
There's a natural variation. And we all know that. I heal pretty quickly. And while I benefit from HOCl rinsing, I don't get the kind of spectacular response to wounds that some people get. And I get wounds all the time. I'm on a farm, I get injuries and cuts and I use HOCl on those wounds.
It helps for sure, helps stop infection of the wounds. But some people respond quite spectacularly because their endogenous supply of HOCl is probably not at the same level as say mine might be.
So that exogenous HOCl that people get from that oral rinsing, in some people produces the most spectacular benefits very quickly because of the power of the system, the power and the speed of HOCl. And then between swishes you have the continuing effect of NCT.
